Aleshund
Aleshund, a municipality on the coast of Norway was virtually destroyed by fire in 1904. The largely wooden buildings burnt ferociously driven by a gale. More than 10,000 people were left without shelter. The town was rebuilt to a significant degree in the Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style. A museum built with Art Nouveau features commemorates the events.
